The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will soon commence pedestrian safety improvements on Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road at the Bannockburn Road intersection.

Works will be undertaken to install a kerb ramp on the footpath beside Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road approximately 100 metres south of the Bannockburn Road intersection, Bannockburn. Additional pedestrian warning signage, tactile ground surface indicators and pavement marking improvements will also be undertaken as part of the works.

Works are expected to commence on 12 May 2025 and take approximately two weeks to complete. Work hours will be Monday to Friday, 6am to 6pm (weekend or night works as required). 

Traffic control and speed restrictions are in place, please drive with care and follow roadwork signage.

Weather, site, and contractor conditions can impact works, delaying start and finish schedules.
