NOTIFICATION OF UPCOMING SCHEDULED ROAD CLOSURE
Besant Street, West End (Between Browning Street & O’Connell Street)

Please be advised that Besant Street between Browning Street and O’Connell Street, will be closed on the date below, due to necessary construction work at Atelier, 110 Vulture Street, West End.

Brick Constructions aim to minimise disruption and will re-open the road as quickly as possible.

This scheduled road closure is essential to ensure compliance with Brisbane City Council (BCC), Queensland Police Service (QPS) and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) duties and obligations.

• Friday 9th May 2025 – 6.00 am to 6.00 pm
• Monday 12th May 2025 – 6.00 am to 6.00 pm

Area Affected:

Besant Street, West End between Browning Street and O’Connell Street.

Traffic Management:

Traffic controllers and detours will be in place.
