What’s happening?

Urban Utilities delivery partner, SRG Global Utilities (formerly Diona), have recently completed water main replacement works along Ann Street, between Queen Street and Albert Street, Brisbane CBD.

What’s next?

From Sunday 7 September 2025, Urban Utilities delivery partner, SRG Global Utilities (formerly Diona), will commence final restoration activities, including asphalting and line marking works, along Ann Street, between Queen Street and Albert Street, Brisbane CBD.

Work hours: between 7:00pm and 5:00am, Sunday to Thursday, intermittently, for up to five weeks (subject to weather and site conditions).

What to expect:

• Night work with reversing beepers, safety lighting, crews, trucks and equipment on the footpath and road. Safety barriers will be in place to keep everyone safe.
• Noise and dust from construction and machinery. We’ll minimise these where we can.
• Changed traffic conditions including lane closures will be in place around work areas and access roads. Traffic controllers will be on site to look after the safety of road users and pedestrians.
