Maintenance Works – Virginia, Newtown & Capalaba

UPCOMING ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKS

The Department of Transport and Main Roads would like to advise road maintenance works will be undertaken for one night at each location from the week commencing 2 June 2024, weather and construction conditions permitting.

• Northbound at the Toombul and Sandgate Road roundabout, Virginia.
• Outbound on Brisbane Road between Montauban Street and Chermside Road, Newtown.
• Southbound at the intersection of Old Cleveland Road and Redland Bay Road, Capalaba.

To help minimise disruptions to the road network, works will be carried out at night from 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Friday.

Temporary traffic changes include road shoulder and lane closures, roadworks speed limit reductions and short-term traffic disruptions. Please allow extra time when planning your travel and follow the directions of roadside signage and traffic controllers. Nearby residents and businesses can expect some increased noise, dust and odour.
