Intersection Median Works – Ipswich-Rosewood Road and Cunningham Highway, Amberley

Median works – Ipswich-Rosewood Road and Cunningham Highway intersection, Amberley

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) would like to advise median works are scheduled for the Cunningham Highway at the intersection with Ipswich- Rosewood Road in Amberley from early June 2025. These works will improve road safety and drainage.

Work activities will include:

• removing vegetation
• concreting the median
• improving drainage.

Timing

• Works will commence in early June 2025 and be completed by early July 2025, construction and weather conditions permitting.
• Typical construction hours will be from 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Thursday.
• Night works are required for road user safety and to avoid what would otherwise be extensive traffic queuing and disruption to the road network.
• While most of the works will be undertaken at night, some Saturday or other out- of-hours work may be required.

Expected impacts

• Nearby residents and businesses may experience short-term increases in noise, dust, and odour.
• Changed traffic conditions may include reduced speed limits, lane or shoulder closures and minor delays.
• Please allow extra time when planning your travel and follow roadside signage and traffic control directions.
