Guardrail Works – Moggill Road, Bellbowrie

Moggill Road, guardrail works

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) would like to advise that installation of new guardrail along Moggill Road (between Chad Street and Livesay Road, Bellbowrie) will be undertaken from early November 2023 to late January 2024, construction and weather conditions permitting.

These works are being undertaken to improve safety.

Works will include:

  • New guardrail installation
  • Vegetation clearing along roadside where required
  • Batter slope restoration
  • New edge line markings
  • Relocation of roadside structures where necessary

  • Typical construction hours will be from 6.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • While the majority of the works will be undertaken during the day, some Saturday or other out of hours night works may be required from 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Friday

Expected impacts

  • Traffic changes will be in effect, including road shoulder closures, temporary lane closures with traffic control, changes to traffic flow, temporary speed reductions and short-term traffic disruptions.
  • Please allow extra time when planning your travel and follow the directions of roadside signage and traffic controllers.

Every effort will be made to minimise impacts on the local community and surrounds.

TMR appreciates your patience and cooperation while these important works are carried out.

The event is finished.
