Survey and investigation works – Gympie Road, Bald Hills                 

Brisbane City Council will be undertaking survey and investigation works along Gympie Road, near to the intersection with Telegraph Road in Bald Hills to help inform design options for a potential future upgrade to the local road network.

For the safety of road workers and to minimise traffic impacts, this work will be undertaken intermittently at night from Tuesday 17 June 2025, between 6pm and 5am and will take about two weeks to complete, weather and site conditions permitting.

In the event of wet weather, these works will be rescheduled to the next available night/s.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may see surveyors working from the verge, notice some noise and lighting from equipment and experience minor delays.

At times, temporary lane closures may be in place and traffic control on site to direct people walking, riding and driving through the work area.
