Road Maintenance – Haigslea, Ashgrove & Eight Mile Plains

UPCOMING ROAD MAINTENANCE – HAIGSLEA, ASHGROVE & EIGHT MILE PLAINS

The Department of Transport and Main Roads would like to advise road maintenance works will be undertaken for one night at each location from the week commencing 9 June 2024, weather and construction conditions permitting.

• Inbound on the Warrego Highway between Claus Road and Beduhns Road, Haigslea.
• In both directions on Stewart Road between Globe Street and McLean Parade, Ashgrove.
• Outbound on the Warrego Highway, Walloon between Leschke Road, Walloon and Haigslea Cemetery Road, Haigslea.
• In both directions on the Southeast Busway, Upper Mount Gravatt between MacGregor Street Overpass and Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains.

To help minimise disruptions to the road network, works will be carried out at night from 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Friday.

Temporary traffic changes include road shoulder and lane closures, roadworks speed limit reductions and short-term traffic disruptions. Please allow extra time when planning your travel and follow the directions of roadside signage and traffic controllers. Nearby residents and businesses can expect some increased noise, dust and odour.
