
Night Works – Clay Gully Road, Victoria Point
Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, Clay Gully Road intersection night works

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) advises that works to complete line marking and relocate traffic barriers and signals along Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, near Clay Gully Road intersection, will occur from Sunday 26 May 2024 for up to five nights, from 7pm to 5am Sunday to Thursday, weather and construction conditions permitting.
These works are required to enable realignment of traffic at the intersection. Please note that the U-turn facility will no longer be provided at Clay Gully Road intersection. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route to access the northbound carriageway.
Lane closures and stop and hold traffic control will be in place on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Traffic control and signage will be in place to direct motorists and pedestrians where required. Please ensure you drive carefully, observe reduced speeds, and follow traffic signs.
Local residents and businesses adjacent to the works may experience noise from construction activities and the use of heavy construction machinery. To ensure safety, site lighting will be used along with flashing lights and audible reversing alarms on vehicles and machinery. Minor lane closures and stop and hold traffic control will be in place on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Traffic control and signage will be in place to direct motorists and pedestrians where required. Please ensure you drive carefully, observe reduced speeds, and follow traffic signs.
