These works are being undertaken to to improve operation and safety for all road users.

Work activities

  • Amend Bunker Road centre lane line marking from shared through and right to through only.

  • Remove right turn arcline marking in the centre of the intersection.

Timing

  • From 7pm Monday 18 March 2024 to 2.30am Tuesday 19 March 2024. Night works are required for road user safety, and to avoid what would otherwise be extensive traffic queuing and disruption to the road network.

Expected impacts

  • Nearby residents and businesses can expect to experience short term impacts including increased noise, dust, and odour during the works.

  • Traffic changes will be in effect, including localised traffic detours, temporary lane closures, temporary speed reductions and short-term traffic disruptions.

  • Traffic will need to turn left and go straight using the right turn lane while water blasting and paint works are undertaken.

Every effort will be made to minimise impacts on the local community and surrounds.

TMR appreciates your patience and cooperation while these important works are carried out.

The event is finished.
