Maintenance Works – Gailes, Chermside & Bald Hills

The Department of Transport and Main Roads would like to advise road maintenance works will be undertaken for one night at each location from the week commencing 10 March 2024, weather and construction conditions permitting.

• Outbound on Viking Drive between the Rocla Place and Old Logan Road, Gailes
• Inbound on Gympie Road between Banfield Street and Hamilton Road, Chermside
• Outbound on Gympie Arterial Road between Strathpine Road and the Gateway Motorway overpass, Bald Hills

To help minimise disruptions to the road network, works will be carried out at night from 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Friday.

Temporary traffic changes include road shoulder and lane closures, roadworks speed limit reductions and short-term traffic disruptions. Please allow extra time when planning your travel and follow the directions of roadside signage and traffic controllers. Nearby residents and businesses can expect some increased noise, dust and odour.
