Temporary Closure – School Road, Rochedale

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CHANGES – SCHOOL ROAD, ROCHEDALE

Please be advised of the following upcoming temporary traffic changes required to deliver Brisbane Metro depot works on School Road, Rochedale.

6am Monday 11 December to 6pm Friday 22 December 2023

• A temporary full road closure will be in place to allow profiling and asphalting works to be undertaken on the southbound and northbound lanes.

During the above closures, local residents will have access to their driveways from the northern end of School Road at all times. There will be no access from Priestdale Road and residents exiting their properties on School Road will be restricted to right-turn only during the closures. 

Traffic control will be in place during work hours to guide pedestrians and general traffic movements. Motorists will be advised to plan ahead and allow extra travel time. Variable Message signs are currently in place to advise of the closure.

We appreciate that these traffic changes will have some impact on the local road network and Brisbane City Council appreciates the cooperation of the local community while these important works are completed.

Please be aware that these works are planned for delivery on the weekend and during the school holiday period to minimise impacts to the local school community.
