Night Works – Smith Street Connection Road, Southport

TRAFFIC ALERT – SMITH STREET CONNECTION ROAD, SOUTHPORT – NIGHT WORKS

Motorists are advised that night work will be taking place on Smith Street Connection Road, at the Kumbari Avenue intersection from Sunday 10 December for three nights. The left turn lane onto Kumbari Avenue will be closed during work hours with detours via Brooke Avenue. The left turn lane will be open outside of work hours.

Work hours for night works are 7:30pm to 5am Sunday to Wednesday. While work will not be happening during the day, please drive carefully as it is an active work site. 

Residents can expect noise, dust and vibrations. While every effort will be made to minimise these impacts, some may be unavoidable.

Please follow detour signs, expect minor delays and allow for extra travel time.
