The Taxi Council of Queensland (TCQ) is preparing to hold its annual general meeting on August 15 in Brisbane.
The AGM is open to all taxi license owners and everyone intending to attend is asked to register their interest online in advance.
TCQ is encouraging all members to attend as it provides the perfect opportunity to discuss previous and future activities, as well as raise any concerns they may have for the coming year.
New CEO Blair Davies said he was looking forward to the opportunity to meet up with members again.
“It’s been a busy year for TCQ and there is plenty of business to update members on and of course they will be required to vote on a number of important issues,” Mr Davies said.
“While the formal part of the AGM has to run to a published agenda, we will most certainly be staying on afterwards to hear from members about any topic that they would like to discuss.”
