As you are aware the Taxi Council Queensland have negotiated a preferential fuel price from BP on behalf of the Industry. In addition to up to 5.8 cents per litre discount, having a BP Plus account also provides additional reporting, exportable transactions and four invoices a month to enter into the accounting system and retain for Tax purposes, instead of 420 (based on 100 cars in the fleet). This discount will not be seen by the individual driver or the receipts they receive when filling and will be applied at the account level.
As a premium operator I wanted to make sure that you were specifically aware of this opportunity, as BP has extended their Shortcut to Savings promotion until 31st December 2013. This provides an additional 2 cents per litre for 6 months and removes the normal card fees until 2015. This means that you can save up to 7.8 cents per litre for the first six months.
I have been working Joachim Sawkins who is BP’s Sales Manager based in Brisbane responsible for the agreement, he has indicated that he would like to meet with you to determine if this opportunity could be of interest to you and talk through the benefits and reporting capabilities of BP’s systems. There would be no obligation in the meeting to move forward.
Joachim’s contact details are firstname.lastname@example.org Phone: 0738617114.
Please feel free to contact Joachim or myself for further clarification or assistance.
Taxi Council Queensland would also like to take this opportunity to wish one and all and very Merry Christmas and Prosperous and Happy New Year.
