Works Notice – William Jolly Bridge Restoration Works

WILLIAM JOLLY BRIDGE RESTORATION WORKS 2025-2026

Brisbane City Council will be undertaking works on the William Jolly Bridge. These works will be occurring from June 2025 to July 2026, weather and site conditions permitting. Project hours are from 6:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, however some intermittent night works are required from 8pm to 5am.

Works will involve minor concrete repairs and repairs to footpaths and pier internals and will involve the use of hand-held equipment and machinery.

Nearby residents and business may notice an increase in noise from equipment and machinery. Council will work to minimise impacts as much as possible. During the project, you may notice an increase in delivery of plant, materials, and equipment to the project area.

To allow these works to completed as quickly and safely as possible some lane closures and footpath closures will be required, with traffic controllers and signage onsite to direct cyclists and pedestrians. Access will be maintained.
