Road Closures – Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan & Camping Supershow

The 2025 Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan & Camping Supershow will be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds from 4th to 8th June 2025

During the event the traffic flow in and around the Brisbane Showgrounds will be affected by limited road closures, revised street signage and parking arrangements between 00:01 Thursday 29th May until 18:00 Tuesday 10th June.

Road Closures and Parking Lane Closures

• King Street between Gregory Terrace and Carriage Way will be a full road closure from 00:01 Thursday 29th May until 18:00 Tuesday 10th June.
• Alexandria Street, between Gregory Terrace and King Lane will be a full road closure from 00:01 Thursday 29th May until 18:00 Tuesday 10th June.
• Machinery Street, after the King Street Car Park and between Alexandria Street will be a full road closure from 00:01 Thursday 29th May until 18:00 Tuesday 10th June.
• The road by the Aurecon building (King Lane) access to car park and one way from King Street to Alexandria Street, Thursday 29th May until 18:00 Tuesday 10th June.
• Gregory Terrace, between Exhibition Street and Costin Street will be a full road closure 00:01 Thursday 29th May until 18:00 Tuesday 10th June to both inbound and outbound.
• Gregory Terrace, outbound, from Bowen Bridge Road to Costin Street and inbound from Costin St to Anderson St will have parking lane closures from 00:01 Thursday 29th May until 18:00 Tuesday 10th June.
• Gregory Terrace, inbound and outbound, from Brookes Street to Exhibition Street will have parking lane closures in both directions from 00:01 Thursday 29th May until 18:00 Tuesday 10th June.
• Costin Street into Constance Street (One Way Street) between Gregory Tce and Carriage St will have no parking on RNA side of the Road from 00:01 Wednesday 4th June to 18:00 Sunday 8th June.
• During the event Gregory Tce end of Costin Street (RNA side) will become a Bus zone, Passenger drop/pick up &Taxi drop/pick up.

Additional to these applications and in conjunction with traffic management personnel, our applications also integrate the following:

• No right or left turn from Brookes Street into Gregory Terrace (except for local traffic only) Barriers will be erected in Brookes St in right turning lane with signage supporting no right/no left turn. Licensed traffic management personnel at Cnr Gregory Tce and Exhibition Street. This means no inbound traffic on Gregory Terrace between Brookes Street and Costin Street (except for local traffic to Exhibition Street and parking under building cnr Brookes and Gregory Tce).
• No left turn into Exhibition Street from St Pauls Tce end. Exhibition Street will be one way from Gregory Tce to St Pauls Tce.
• Out-bound traffic on Gregory Terrace will be directed to turn in to Costin Street. Licensed traffic management personnel will control barriers directing Traffic down Costin Street at peak times.
• King Street/Carriage Street closure point intersection will have “Local Traffic Only”/”Road Closed Ahead” signage placed on approach, leaving access to apartments and businesses via Carriage Street. Licensed traffic Management personnel will control barriers directing traffic at peak times.
• During the period of closure, access to the Brisbane Showgrounds will be provided for emergency service vehicles, and vehicles requiring access for event related purposes.

Pedestrians shall be directed by footpath barricades and signage. No pedestrian access to Alexandria St and between Machinery Street King Street car park and Alexandria St. No pedestrian access Gregory Tce between Exhibition Street and Costin Street. No pedestrian access into King St from Carriage Street to Gregory Tce.
