Queensland Taxi industry awards recognise and celebrate professional taxi drivers and operators who make an outstanding contribution to the improvement of the industry.

Driver of the year
The Taxi Council’s Driver of the Year award is open to all holders of a current taxi Driver Authority who regularly drive 4 or more shifts in a capital or provincial city in Queensland.

Fleet operator of the year
The Taxi Council’s Fleet Operator of the Year award is open to all holders of a current taxi Operator Accreditation (including provisional) who consistently operate 5 or more taxis in a capital or provincial city in Queensland.
