Temporary Road Closure – Moon Festival

Brisbane City Council’s Moon Festival will once again be held on Saturday 4^th October 2025. 

The following temporary road closures are planned to take place as part of the Moon Festival celebrations on Saturday 4^th October 2025 between 11am and 11pm:

• Duncan Street will be temporarily closed between Ann and Chinatown Mall, traffic controllers shall hold all vehicles and assist pedestrians from 11am until 11pm. 
• Duncan Street will be temporarily closed, between Wickham Street and Chinatown Mall, traffic controllers shall hold and release of vehicles entering Secure carpark and shall assist pedestrians from 4pm until 9.30pm
• Wickham Street tapered partial lane will be temporarily closed with closing off 1 car parking bay at 167 Wickham Street between Gipps and Duncan Street between 3.30pm and 9.30pm

Please note that the two five-minute bays will also not be available between 3.30pm and 9.30pm.
